THE STORY
In 2022 Lindsey Henry woke up on an idle Tuesday and called Chris Celio of Celio Ranch in South Lake Tahoe. The first words out of her mouth were, "So...I'd like to start a summer day camp at the ranch."
Chris's response without skipping a beat, "Let me talk to Tom (Celio)."
The rest is Jesus led history!

Lindsey Henry has been a life long local of South Lake Tahoe. After spending the last 26 years working with children and other organizations, Lindsey knew her calling was to keep the adventure going and to venture out on her own. Camp CREW is the culmination of working for various day camps around the lake as well as many church camps thr

Camp CREW is the culmination of working for various day camps around the lake as well as many church camps throughout her teen and young adult years.
Camp CREW is every kid's dream. Uninterrupted outside play in a safe environment, who could as for anything more!

Camp CREW was formed out of necessity, the drive to share Jesus with children and families, and because day camp is fun.
I strive to create an environment for kiddos to feel empowered. It is important for them to attempt "dangerous things carefully."
Under the watchful and nearby eyes of the counselors as well as myself, campers can climb

I strive to create an environment for kiddos to feel empowered. It is important for them to attempt "dangerous things carefully."
Under the watchful and nearby eyes of the counselors as well as myself, campers can climb, build, dig, jump, play, and solve problems on their own. There is a beautiful balance between when the adult steps in and the child learns to stand up.
